The Ping G5 Titanium driver features a 460cc titanium head and is very similar in shape to the very popular G2 driver. The weight has been re-distributed to create an even lower and deeper center of gravity to reduce spin and increase the likelihood of finding the short grass.

Switched from taylormade R7 ht 10.5 deg to Ping G5 10.5, both with aldila shafts. got an extra 10 yards and finding more fairways.

I have had this club for six weeks.This stick replaced my Great Big Bertha (1995).What I can say is the G5 schools that old Callaway. I’ve added 30 yards of carry with this new club, plus more roll. No grooves on the sweet spot of the G5. You still have to put a good swing on it, but so much more forgiving. I suggest getting fitted for the right shaft. I launch this at 12-13* with the Aldila and trajectory is perfect. The Graffaloy will give you a little higher trajectory. I,m getting 275 yards carry on my solid shots, and its 30 degrees outside. This club brings my tee shots to another level. Awesome!

I am new to golf. I’m just getting down my swing and have only played 1 real game on a course. So overall, I’m a n00b. A previous 10.5° driver was giving me horrible shots all over the place. It was so bad, I would just tee off using a 7-Iron. With the arrival of my Ping G5 13.5° Driver with Regular Shaft, I am a beast at the driving range and ready to hit the course once again. I’m driving the ball straight down the line at a distance of around 200-250/yds. I couldn’t believe my shots when I first started using it. I am now hooked. I’m never giving up this Driver. And anybody else who is looking for a driver that ignores you having a perfect swing, I recommend this driver, hands down.

I just bought a ping g5 driver a week ago. I played it for the first time on sunday, my goal is to shoot in the 90s. My round was going ok driving wise but poor putting led me to 96 starting the 18th par4 340 yds. I knew what I had to do, birdie. I took a deep breath, stayed relaxed and unleashed the most powerful shot I have ever hit so far, drove the green, had a put for eagle staying short and made the birdie, 99. This driver is awesome, easy to hit, I can see myself shooting in the 80s pretty soon because this thing will give me eagle chances on short par 4 plus make par 5 reachable in 2. I love it, can’t wait to play again next week end. What a feeling to walk down the fairway realizing your ball is on the green.

I just bought this club 2 days ago after testing just about every other driver out there. After testing them in simulators, I knew the G5 was the one. I got the Alvida stiff shaft with 10.5 loft. This club feels amazing even on mishits and my slice has virtually disappeared. I just got back from my first round with it and I am amazed! My longest drive was right at 300 yards and I hit the green on hole 9, which is a 295 yard par 4! I thought it had a chance of going in the hole! This is the best out there, just make sure to get fitted for the right shaft and loft and will help out a ton.

Went from being an average driver to generally the longest and straightest in any group. Takes shots off my game - about 6 - because I rarely have to hit lower than a 9 iron to the green on par 4’s - mostly just a wedge.
Lent it to my mate on the range and he did the same thing. If I could putt I’d be shooting mid 70’s.
Wouldn’t have believed it if someone else told me.

Starting last year I tried numerous brands of drivers with little sucess. Bought the G5 with the regular shaft this spring and my drives returned to the fairway and were at least 10 yards longer. Very forgiving club.

Super long and forgiving.I was hitting my old hippo about 270 average and now it more like 285-290. I went with the 7.5 aldia nv stiff. Don’t be stupid buy this club you will love it.

Well…before I played the Ping G5 driver and fairway woods, I was a callaway man; I had a Callaway Hawkeye VFT 9 driver. One of my friends introduced me to the G5 series from Ping. The driver is INCREDIBLE. I get tremendous distance, even when I dont give a full swing, and still get tremendous results. The G5 fairway wood is the most forgiving fairway wood that I have ever used…I get decent distance, whether I use a full swing or 3/4…I’ve noticed with the G5 series driver and fairway woods that ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS MAKE CONTACT, u dont even have to use a full swing to get good distance.
This is just an amazing series.

This club is not super long but long enough. What makes it brillant is its accuracy. It is the straightest driver I have ever used. I recently upgraded from my TiSi Tec driver which is still a very good club. With the old club I was averaging about 230 metres with a 200 metre carry. I have gained a few metres in distance - up to about 10m - but the accuracy is unbelievable and I am finding myself on the fairway about 90 per cent of the time and that is making a huge difference to my game. Just point and shoot. I find it very easy to find the sweet spot and shape shots as well.
