I switched from Cleveland CG2 and had the Mizuno’s custom fitted with TT Dynalite Gold SL R300 shafts (I’m getting older). Dropped from handicap of 14 to 9 in 2-months. I worked on my basics and would recommend these clubs to anybody who will put in the work to use them. These are not golf clubs, they are precision surgical instruments designed to eat turf!

I bought this set off ebay just to try them. These clubs have rifle shafts in them. I have always heard about cutting through butter but never experienced it untill I hit these clubs. Best feeling clubs I have eveer hit. I am able to work these clubs and lowered my handicap at least 6 shots. I was shooting about 85 and now shoot 79 or less. For someone looking a good players club these are first class.

Just traded in my r7 irons for the Mp-60. I have always been very pleased with Taylor Made products but decided I was ready to move up to a more workable set of irons. After an extensive search of sticks I decided to go with the Mizuno’s. I am pleased to say that I have been NOTHING BUT OVERWHELMED with these clubs! They have far surpassed my expectations. I must admit I was at first a bit timid that I had bitten off more than I could chew fearing a lack of forgiveness. However these clubs proved me wrong in the fact that they are forgiving enough on slighlty off center shots, but when struck on the screws there is no other iron I have EVER hit that rewards such a well struck ball! As read in previous interviews the feel of sliding through warm butter holds true for shots struck in the sweet spot. So if you are concerned about lack of forgiveness go ahead and take the plunge. Concetrate more during your pre-shot routine and take your game to the next level!

I though Mizuno made the best iron in the MP32 but they have out done their self with the mP 60 irons . They are even better than ever. The mizuno mp60 irons are the easiest forged club to hit and the softest metal in the industry.. Mizuno is the leader in irons for Consumers.. , Because Mizuno cares about its customers.. meaning ALL of them. I highly recommend you buy the MP60 irons Today. and don’t bother looking at anything else!

I have been using the MP 60’s for 4 months and I love them. I have shot the best golf of my life since buying these.
I’ve been away from the game for about 6 years and resumed about 8 months ago with my old clubs - Pind ISI nickel/graphite. As my game came back I started to look around for new clubs.
I wanted good quality, good looking clubs. Although I had never owned forged clubs I did like the feel when testing them. I tried many others and did heaps of research on the net but did not find anything that beat the MP 60’s so I went ahead and bought them.
They feel awesome, look like a players club and perform really well. With these clubs I find it relatively easy to shape shots and control trajectory.

Their forgiveness on off-centre hits is quite OK, certainly no worse than any other club I’ve tried. The feedback through your hands lets you know you have missed one but not like the jar you get from cast clubs.

If you are contemplating new clubs you will not be disappointed with these.
Very highly recommended.

these are the most accurate irons i’ve ever “swung” looks a feel a price b what is strange is the short irons comprable distance, 3-7 way longer than my dci’s with 30 yrs experience and an hcp still around 5 (too many kids) to get that back down i highly reccomend these for any 15 or less GREAT IRONS

This club is great, but reading about it cannot truly do it justice. By far the best irons I have ever hit. The feel of a flush shot can only be described as well amazing. Its just pure and the way a golf club should feel. Its workable but still far more forgiving then anyother blade I have ever hit. And talk about surgical accuracy! The club head cuts through rough and gives you an amazing amount of confidence! I have the true temper black gold shafts an inch longer and its the perfect combination for me. It is truly a great club that you just have to hit. If you can hit your irons decently then seriously think about switching to these even if they are blades… ha ha plus you get to see the look of envy in the eyes of everyone you play with : ) One of the most beautiful clubs out and it works too… you have to try it

I have played Ping Eye II’s for 15 years,so I might be technologically stunted I admit. As a reference point, however, I would normally hit my Ping 6 iron approx 160 yards. After playing with the MP-60’s for a few months now, I am hitting my 6 iron about 180 yards. Of course, distance is not the sole determinant of this recommendation. They feel very solid when properly struck and if they are hit a little off the sweet spot, they feel surprisingly softer than expected. I will not go out on a limb and say that the clubs are magically making me hit the ball better and farther. I will say, however, that the club somehow encourages me to make a better swing. I realize that may sound strange, but it is true for me. If you are a lower handicapper, it is also easier to work the ball than most clubs I have tried.

WHAT A CLUB!!! PLAYED DCI 962 X100 SHAFTS GOOD STICKS BUT THE MP 60 FAR SUPERIOR. THE MIZUNOS ARE MORE FORGIVING BUT VERY DIFFERENT BALL FLIGHT. THE 60′S HAVE A PENETRATING BUT HIGHER BALL FLIGHT (PROBABLY) THE U GROOVES. DISTANCE IS VERY SIMILAR HOWEVER MORE CONSISTANT WITH THE 60′S. ACCURACY WITH THE 60′S APPEARS TO BE FAR SUPERIOR AS WELL AS WORKABILITY.THE 60′S ARE SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS WITH GREAT LOOOKS AND SOUND!!! IF YOU ARE A 15 OR UNDER AND WANT TO BECOME A BALL STRIKER THIS IS THE CLUB FOR U!!

If you have a fairly consistent swing and can commit to hitting the shot these clubs are brilliant. They are not oversize game improvers irons, but will reward a good contact. More forgiveness than you’d think by looking at them and they do allow you to work the ball flight quite easily. Excellent irons.

OMG! As a Titlest man for over 12 yrs. I was floored at how good the MP-60’s feel and perform. Mind you, they like any other iron have to be properly fitted to deliver top notch performance, but wow, do they! I started by only practicing, range work, but after taking them to the course a couple times a week, I quickly realized they were superior to the 731’s and 775’s the latter of which I purchased at the same time as the Mizuno’s. No contest, absolutely no contest. Feel, workability, even looks. Now if they could just make a wedge to compare with the SM

I play to a 10 handicap and ‘used’ to play MP-33’s in standard true temper R300’s, and if you asked me a month ago I would swear by them. They are great clubs, yes not very forgiving but with regular practice it did take my game to another level. Last month I chanced upon the MP-60’s on ‘clearence’ at a local store - bought them (my instructor’s bidding - get a more forgiving set of irons, don’t make the game harder than it is). ‘AMAZING’ is the only word I can find to describe them. It took me a couple of weeks to get adjusted to them. The biggest factor to me was the distance gain off the tee, no exaggeration - almost 2 club increase. Where I was hitting 5 iron’s on Par 3’s (180+ yards) were now 7 irons on a full swing. I am hitting a pitching wedge 140+ yards and a 9 iron 150+ yards off the ground all carry. I still have not been able to practice enough on my long irons to quantify the distances. Hey am only 6 rounds into using them :) Added to all this, was the forgiveness, and I think that contributes in a large way to your confidence standing over the ball and swinging full tilt. The loft specs on the clubs vs the MP-33’s are identical except for the offset’s which are marginally more as you progress up from the mid irons - and yes that translates to a noticable forgiveness when playing the long irons. Overall you really cannot go wrong on these clubs. If you are a die hard MP-33 fan like i ‘was’ try these you will be writing and not reading these reviews. Hat’s off to Mizuno and their engineering. I had never thought the adage of ‘Buy distance off a shelf’ would come true!!!

Very nice irons. Longer and more foregiving on off-centre hits then my old irons…MP33’s which were nice but these are the best I have hit. About a club longer then my old irons. Workable, draw, fade, take a little off, hit hard, high, low, etc.
