Very nice club. Hit the R7, Ping G5, Rapture, Cobra, Burner and the HiBore XL and walked away with the HiBore XL. Off the lauch Monitor my Club head speed was faster, ball spin was on the money, and was the straightest. Was the second furthest hit next to the Ping G5 but only by 5 yards. Was averaging 275 out of 10 swings. Average of 5 yards left which for me is very good. On the course it was very close to the same. Hit 15 out of 18 fairways and was crushing them. Driving has always been the weak part of my game but not anymore. Go somewhere that has a launch montior and try for yourself. I am sure you’ll get one to.

I am only 14 years old but im really into golf and not to brag but im pretty damn good at it. I used to have a Cleveland 460 Ti offset driver to cure my slice, and it did help it when i was younger and didnt really have a good swing but i was hooking it more. I tried the cleveland Hibore 9.5 stiff shaft and what a difference this club makes. I gained 15 yards with the driver. And now hitting it just around 275. This club is so great that I picked up the 3-wood too and now par 5’s turn into par 4’s for me. YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS CLUB.

This club is amazing. The new look head is not so hard to get used to at all. Teeing the ball slightly lower is important, but it really does go a long way. It has a penetrating ball flight, and if you hit it well, it doesn;t want to come down.

I’ve certainly been hitting more consistently off the tee, and it is very easy to get used to.

This club has made a big difference in my game. I was fitted by the Cleveland Tech Van. I have a Cleveland HiBore XL 9.5 with a Grafalloy Prolaunch Red stiff shaft. I’m not a longer hitter, about 250 max. I was having a problems with hitting the fairway and keeping a 250 yard average. Tech Van set me up with this club and I now hit 250 and the fairway more consistantly. I am very impressed by this club, but I have to say the noise takes awhile to get use to. If you are a traditionalist or bothered by noise, stay away from this club.

The first day i got the hibore i took it to the range and i absolutely loved it. The aldila shaft works very well atleast 8/10 shots were straight down the middle going atleast 225-250. Be sure to tee it low and let it go. Another guy had the same driver except the stock stiff shaft and boy does the shaft make a difference. Aldila is highly preffered. Great driver in all. Nice feel nice sound great for all players all around.

i purchased the hibore xl 10.5 w/ a proto “by you” shaft and absolutely love it! it is easily 20 yds longer and extremely forgiving. i took it out for the first time and hit 12 of 14 fairways. i have been averaging 11-13 fairways per round which extremely good for me. worth every penny. highly recommend this one.

I went through many reviews before buying this driver…. very usefull…. this driver is actually looooooooooooong, and straight as hell.. it just does not slice or fades for me unlike my Taylormade r580 or my mizuno mx-500… very good feel at the address and just more confidence in every shot… even the duffs and miss-hits go 180+ yards and straight. The shaft, the clubhead, the grip infact everything about it is good… i would recommend it to anyone who is struggling for long drives… go ahead, make everyone jealous….

I was using a Nike Ignite 450cc and had a horrible slice with a outside to in swing at about 93 mph, which is borderline Stiff shaft. I went to Golfsmith and hit quite a few drivers, the Hibore stuck with me. It has a pretty loud sound at impact. I now play the ball just to the left of the fairway if not on the fairway, the ticket with this driver is to tee it low, the center of gavity is low, which is what cleveland intended. If you tee it high you will balloon and sky the ball. Tee the ball 1 1/2 to 2 inches off the ground and let her rip. I really like the Driver, I got it in the regular flex, I have never had a problem with the look of the club, but the performance is great.

I have just bought the Cleveland Hibore 10.5 with a fujikara regular shaft.
What a great club!!!
I usualley hit a bit of a slice but this turned it into a wicked draw.
Great club at a great price.
Make sure you try it out at the range before you play it as the unusauel dish shaped head takes some getting used to.
Would reccommend this to anyone.
Great job down at cleveland.

Sorry, but this driver did not feel good to me. I have been using a Cleveland Launcher 460 for about a year and it is the best driver I’ve ever had thus far.

Thinking that since it was the next model Cleveland, I thought it would be a natural progression for me to move to the Hi-Bore. Well, it wasn’t. I just couldn’t stand the feel of the club as it hit the ball. It felt like a rock.

Just got this club today and spent about an hour on the range with it. It wont fix your swing, but as others say, its a great band aid. The harder I swung, the straighter the ball flew. Almost everything was straight down the middle. Play around with the ball height but definately keep the ball lower than you would for 460 cc. This club is not as far as my 2006 Cobra F Speed 10.5 Aldila regular flex, probably 15 yards shorter, but it took out my wicked side spin. I’ll take shorter in the fairway over long and in the woods anyday. With my Cobra, the harder I swung, the more side spin I would get. It would start out straight as an arrow, then around 150-175 yds, take off to the right. Not with the Hibore. The closest I came to a slice resulted in a nice fade. The Proforce V2 regular shaft feels firmer than stock and should balloon the ball as much.

IN the process of shopping for a new driver, I demo’d an XL at the course last week. It took me a few holes to get used to it, but on a short 354 yard par 4 I drove the ball pin-high on the fringe. I will definitely buy one.

have the gold shaft, stiff, with 10.5 degree. Just took it out for the first time today. It wont fix your swing by any means but it hits them long and straight. Its also very loud, took me by surprise the first hit. awesome club, would recommend
