Callaway FT-i Review by davey, April 7, 2008
before I got this driver I consistantly sliced my drives. You can buy the club in 3 styles fade, straight, and draw. I got the club that was weighted to correct slices and now with this club I consistantly drive where I aim. The price is very high for a golf club but for me it is worth every penny.

As with a lot of guys I can hit a long ball but have difficulty keeping it on the fairway. Last October, to improve consistency (at the expense of distance) I went back to my steel shafted Titleist 905T. I’ve recently tried a number of drivers and the local pro suggested I try the Callaway FT-I tour driver. I didn’t like the head shape but gave it a go. The first 15 balls went flew off the face straight down the fairway, 5 had a nice fade, after 50 more balls I was impressed. I tried hitting my poor shots but they didn’t seem to come. Needless to say I purchased the club.

Just got this driver and have been on the course 3 times with it and am very impressed. Very easy to find the middle and if you can get over the square look and the longer shaft there is no reason why you could hit every fairway during a round of golf. Don’t be fooled by all the hype though, you still have to swing it good, remember nothing can fix a bad thing, but, this driver does want to go straight there is no doubt about that!

I hadn’t tried these clubs for long, although I did however have a smack with the FT-i callaway. This driver was placing e in the spot!!!! I didnt believe how far i was hitting them! This was definately a Great experiement. I am only 13 years old and I was hitting them 278 metres the guy had told me. I one day will perchase this as I become a better golfer. I hope. This driver is great! It doesn’t go fade of draw. (If you buy a draw FT-i it will) (same with a fade FT-i.)
Do buy this club!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buy it!!!!
Callaway FT-i Review by sonnie333man, July 23, 2008
The driver took some time to get used to. I brought it to the driving range for a couple of weeks, twice per week and used it on 2 Saturday’s golf game. It was on the third week that I noticed an improvement in distance and target line, driving an average of 270 yards and was usually on the left center of the fairway. My driver is the tour 9.5 stiff.
Callaway FT-i Review by A. Paul, August 1, 2008
So I picked this up out of curiosity @ my local pro shop, & took a few swings on the simulator. The sound was pretty cool, but most impressive was the grouping on the club face. Took it to the range the next day, & was blown away by the consistency. Compared it swing for swing with my new R7 TP, & was longer & strighter on pretty much every shot. It’s a little harder to play a draw, but a fade was not an issue at all. Want to hit it straight…that’s what this club is all about. LONG, & straight. It will replace my R7 425 TP in the bag indefinitely. I actually like the look of the club, & it sets up very nicely. Tour model has 0.5 degree open face which is a plus. Speeder 686 shaft is sweet. Feel of the club is remarkable. I may trade in the R7 for a backup FTI in 8.5 degrees. I highly recommend this driver for both advanced & beginner golfers. I will say, that the harder you swing the club, the higher the ball flight.
